Kate Downie : Zero to Fifty – The Road Bridge Diaries

To mark the 50th birthday of the Forth Road Bridge, renowned Scottish landscape artist, Kate Downie has been appointed as Artist in Residence by the Forth Estuary Transport Authority. Featuring a mix of large-scale charcoal drawings, chinese ink paintings and films, the exhibition shows a study of the three bridges which cross the Firth of Forth.

Zero to Fifty – The Road Bridge Diaries is on at Hopetoun House, Edinburgh, until the 13th September 2014.
