Kate V Robertson : Reclaimed – The Second Life of Sculpture

As part of Glasgow International Festival, The Briggait is hosting a large exhibition featuring numerous sculptural works, some of which haven’t been seen for 20 years, from contemporary artists from all over the UK. As well as showcasing a diverse range of sculptural work, the exhibition explores the production and collection of 3d work.

Glasgow International Festival is a biennial arts festival, which features a series of exhibitions from a number of UK and International artists, staged at venues around the city.

Starting in 2001, Wasps Studios set out to redevelop the Briggait to bring it back to its former glory. Completing the project in 2009, the building is now home to a number of studios, offices, and multipurpose use spaces, therefore acting as a creative hub for independent artists and makers, and creative organisations.
