Norman McLaren : Hand-made Cinema

James Clegg, Curator of Talbot Rice Gallery, talks about the work of Norman McLaren, Scottish- born Canadian animator and film director. Hand-made cinema explores his early experiments in film and animation. It includes techniques such as scratching on to celluloid, hand-drawn on to soundtracks or even his unique system of animated sound.

The exhibition has place in Talbot Rice Gallery from the 31st of May to the 5th of July.
