Scott Rogers : Negative Miracle

Canadian artist Scott Rogers introduces his exhibition ‘Negative Miracle’, currently showing at the Glasgow Sculpture Studios. Created during his one year Graduate Fellowship at GSS from November 2012 to November 2013, this is Rogers’ first major solo show since graduating from the MFA at Glasgow School of Art in June 2012 and his first solo presentation in Scotland.

New works in video, sound, sculpture, and drawing make up this exhibition and continue Rogers’ interest in the tensions between ideals and their actualisation, with the exhibition exploring this relationship as a site of decay.

Negative Miracle is on at the Glasgow Sculpture Studios, until 1st March 2014.
