A Body of Parts draws from artist Silvy Weatherall’s interest in nature, but also her fear of waste. Living with her husband who is a meat and game dealer, Silvy salvages the by-products of this business and aims to create something new with them. Using feathers, skulls and even bird feet, Silvy gives these items a new purpose, and creates a selection of objects that celebrate the life before and the new life now.

A Body of Parts is on in the Tin Roof Gallery, Jupiter Artland, Bonnington House, until the 20th July 2014.
