Tim Wootton

Wildlife artist Tim Wootton introduces his work from his Stromness based studio and gallery space. Wootten’s process starts with field work where he creates small pencil drawings of birds capturing a little moment of the day, which he can then work on in the studio later.

Wootton’s wildlife work has been widely recognised, winning prizes for his pieces including the Wildscape Magazine’s Wildlife Artist of the Year 2008 – editor’s category, and the winner of World Birds category, BBC Wildlife Magazine Wildlife Artist of the Year, 2010.
