Adrian Welch of Richard Murphy architects explains the visual language adopted while seeing the brief aiming the building towards retailers and restaurants for higher earning customers with the siting at Ocean Terminal of the Royal Yacht Britannia. Edinburgh’s tram scheme set out to bring Ocean Terminal and the Airport together but the final leg to Ocean Terminal was cancelled.
