Artist Corin Sworn introduces her new work at Inverleith House. The pieces explore the plant samples that have been archived at Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, and the dyeing qualities of them. Sworn presents silk screens that have been dyed using cabbage and gorse bush, as well as other plants. Along with these pieces, Sworn exhibits a film in the basement of the building, which is presented with a light installation.
Corin Sworn’s work is shown at Inverleith House, Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, until the 29th June 2014.
