As part of a TalkSeePhotography event held at the Centre for Contemporary Art, Anna-Kaisa Rastenberger and Erja Sala talk about the phenomenon of sharing pictures online through sites and apps such as Flickr, Instagram, Facebook and Tumblr. Rastenberger’s long term research into this has included an exhibition called #Snapshot, which explores online visual habits and how they have changed our perception of the photography.

TalkSeePhotography is a monthly event with presentations by photography practitioners, curators, and writers which are followed by an open discussion. In the autumn of 2014, TSP launches the first in a series of different international programs with talks and workshops by Scandinavian professionals. These will be interspersed with national presentations and an open call for a project slam.
