Katie Carlisle and Brogan Ramm : RGI New Graduate Prize

Katie Carlisle and Brogan Ramm, recipients of the Royal Glasgow Institute New Graduate Prize, introduce their work on show. Primarily working in paint, Carlisle’s work explores ideas of homosexuality and prejudice, touching upon situations which are happening elsewhere in the world. Ramm’s work is centred in photography, and looks to bring into the fore details which may have been forgotten about or ignored.

Both artists graduated from Glasgow School of Art last year, and received the prize which allowed them to explore new work and to showcase it on a platform that seeks to foster new talent.

The RGI New Graduate Prize exhibition is on at the RGI Kelly Gallery, Glasgow, until the 28th June 2014. Find out more about the exhibition by going to http://www.royalglasgowinstitute.org/exhibitions/
