North Uist based artist and graphic designer Lorraine Burke discusses her practice and the residency she completed in Australia. Burke’s artwork centres around walking, be it to tidal islands in North Uist, or paths over old pilgrimage routes. The exciting element for Burke, and what greatly informs her practice, isn’t the location, but the knowledge that can be found on the road.
