Originally from Sweden, Susanne graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design with a Master of Fine Art in 2013. She also has a BA in Latin American Studies from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, and Universidad de Colima, Mexico, and has exhibited in Sweden, the UK and the USA.

The work for ‘Anthropocene’ was started at Arteles Creative Residency Programme in the Finnish countryside earlier this year, where Susanne spent a month in the vast Finnish forest investigating how humans relate to nature and to one another in different parts of the world.

The exhibition is in The Small Gallery, ARI, Aberdeen and will run from 17th September to 14th November
